Chop up the tail of a Ducati Monster
It is not intended to be beautiful, the deformed and bare, where the streets with the attitude and performance to match. Then something terrible happened in the name of regulation, the rear fender was designed from my daughters Barbie bike and the beast was tamed. Like getting a hybrid from the pound to your collar, license and tag and put the poor thing on a line.
If you want to give back some dignity to your loved one monster then it's time to be a sign of civilization remove. Let the beast out of the excess plastic and junk that are the mark of domestication. Cut the tail, cut the frame, eliminate the fender, whatever you want to call. Disfigure it! Make it a real monster.
It's a simple process that every wannabe mechanic shop can do. It actually requires more guts than skill. My first cut was made with spare parts and brackets. It made me feel masculine to hold it to the man and make my own tail chop, it was a very fun and I enjoyed the creative process, but I was unable to clean look that I wanted to create. Eventually I bought a bracket Bang Fabrication everything cleaned up and was frankly a lot easier than trying to tweak my own.
The end result was a new look that makes hunting and gives the Monster the sleek look that you would expect from a Ducati. The Ducati Monster is one of the largest street bikes you can get. If you have one, make it your own and cut the tail!
