Laws relating to the power-assisted bicycles?
I want to buy a bicycle frame and a 48cc engine to be mounted on. I am going to put a headlight lamp, and turn signals. I try to keep a legal in-town cruiser. Do I have the bike registered, inspected, or what? If so, how am I going to do about the bike no fin. I am located in PA.
In Illinois, you make a moped – a bicycle with a motor. To use this, you need a valid driver's license with a passenger Note – No cycle license required. Now check your state law, but you can OAN – owner applies a VIN number, but used by you for a custom or homemade vehicle. You should also propbably plates. Hope I helped a little
