Casual Biker, Looking to Get More Serious With It and Got New Bike?
I've been in the market to buy a new bike, but do not really know too many serious about cycling. I do research online and talked to my local bike shop. I know I should look for a hybrid. I usually bike 30 + miles per day (looking to increase this to about 50 miles a day) on a 12-year-old Wal Mart bike. I usually on the roads and slippery at best rough trails in a hilly area. The bike shop guy advised a Specialized Cross Trail. I wanted to know if anyone has any opinions on this bike or any other recommendations. I will try to keep under $ 500 as I can. Thanks guys.
