4300 or 6500 Trek mountain bike?

Recommendations on this bike? Will the 4300 discs are good for me (a novice with a somewhat restricted budget) or should I POP for 6500 has better components and will be better for me if I advance? Chime in on the quality of these bikes. Treks are made in the U.S. fishermen like Gary? Thank you.
